Videos not working last couple of days

The last few days all whiskey media videos have been terrible to me. They go for maybe 10 seconds then either start to buffer or show the "play again?" button.

This was a rare occurrence before which I could fix by reloading the page, but now nothing seems to work.

Seems like only way for me to now see any videos is download them, which I don't like doing at all.

I have the same problem both on my Macbook and my Windows 7 computer.

Anyone have any idea what I might do to fix this if it is a problem on my side?

My Internet connection is fine by the way with 9 ms and 25 Mbps.

As of about two weeks ago I've started having the same problem - constant buffering of most, but not all videos that I'm trying to stream to my hacked ATV2 running XBMC.

For a specific example, I have to buffer at about the 1 minute mark for the video http://media.screened.com/video/sc_besties_laconfidential_081211_1500.mp4 . On my second attempt, I buffered for an eternity right away when starting the video. The behaviour isn't consistent, but with no hardware changes on this end it appears to be something on Whiskey Media's side.

@StormtrooprDave: @mike20: What browser / OS are you guys using? I'm using Chrome / Win 7 and the videos have been working fine for me.

@pat4327:

I'm on Firefox 7, Windows XP.

Are they doing some updates? Seems like there are a few random bugs.

@mike20: I know they just updated the image uploader, but I'm not sure about the other things. I do remember one of the engineers saying they were having some problems with XP compatibility.

I know this isn't a good answer, but the way I remedy this is by using chrome and the html5 player. It does a very good job at buffering and remembering your place in a video. I can watch half a video, then put my laptop to sleep, then next day resume right where I was which is a really nice thing (though prob bad for whiskey bandwidth).

They had a call to arms about this issue a while back so the more info you can give the better. If you can, note the time and what video it was and where geographically you are located and send that in a pm to one of whiskey's top men along with your usual browser/os info. It has to do with something on amazon's end if I recall, how it delivers the data or some such.
