Do you throw away the cardboard cover of the dvd?

Sometimes buying dvds they have this cardboard cover. I tend to throw them away because they have stupid stickers all over them. Unless its a special design or something.

Anyone else?

They are garbage. I throw the cases away, too.

Definitely keep them. I'll peel stickers off too if they're from the store, but occasionally leave them if the manufacturer put them there.

I keep them, but not on the Dvd. I have a big box of cardboard covers in my closet.

Ouch. Guess you don't like displaying your DVDs on a shelf then?

As for my answer, no. I keep everything.

Keep them, unless they've got way too many stickers that would tear it up if I tried taking them off.

@VaultDweller13: No. Last time I was moving I transferred my whole collection to a few big binders. Threw out about 8 garbage bags of cases and was able to carry ever CD, DVD and PC game I own to the car in a single trip.

I used to have binders but I find that they're a bit worse for the surface of the DVD for long-term storage. Of course most DVD players and DVDs these days are pretty skip-resistant.

It depends. Sometimes when I get older those movies that I once liked don't really hold up and I throw the cardboard away.

No, I think some of them look neat.

My blu-ray collection is only marred by the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince cardboard cover.  My copy of Dark Knight had one that I got from Target but it was all covered in crap when I bought it so I trashed it.  Blu-rays look so nice together!

I generally keep them, but if you buy one at a store that puts stickers on them it can leave an irritating residue behind, resulting in some getting trashed unfortunately.
