Last time I moved I made the decision to toss out all my cases and put every disc into a few fat, 300 disc binders. I ended up throwing away five garbage bags worth of packaging and saving a lot of space in my car. So while I can't exactly display them nicely anymore, they take up very little space and it's a lot more convenient to find a DVD quickly.

Lets just say it took me at least 4 hours to organize all of the dvd that i own, its almost time to do it again, maybe when i go on vacation this week >_>

BY THE BEARD OF ZEUS! How could you do that? Those poor DVDs left so cold and homeless! Being a collector I need the whole package in as perfect condition as possible becuase I'm anal about that <_<

I just reorganised all mine a couple of days ago. All in alphabetical order in a big bookcase sort of thing. All my CD's are in there also actually. Nice set up at the minute.

christ, that's a lot of movies. I wanted to catalog my stuff like @TheFaithfullyDeparted did, but I just have them lined up horizontally, with the ones that don't fit stacked on top at the far right. The family is building a house right now because of past circumstances, so when we move in, I'll get a better set up. 
 
EDIT: @dvdhaus CHRIST! I want to go to your garage sale :/

Same here. I keep all my dvds in a drawer though, as I don't have a stand.

That's a heck of a lot of movies. All of my DVDs and video games fit on one shelf of a five-shelf bookcase.

I got them on a bookcase, alphabetize with the DVDs and Blu-rays separated.
