After a week off due to illness, I'm back with the usual this week. Hope I wasn't too missed. ;)

Criterion Cuts this week is Black Orpheus.

This week's Directed Viewing is Jarmusch's Dead Man and boy, is it a doozy.

You know what continues to surprise me about My Little Pony? How even after you read a leaked plot summary, which always suggests something stupid or namby-pamby, (From a little girl's show? Never!) how it always manages to turn out to be a good episode. I wouldn't say the new one is the best so far, but it at least had Zecora. And proved that France exists in a ponifed life after people.
 
Also, Big Lebowski ponies.
