Point value calculations

I apologize if this has been posted before though I couldn't find a topic already on this. Basically, I'm just wondering how the point calculations are determined for wiki submissions. For instance, I am editing a TV show right now and simple things like adding locations get me 2 points per location. I just went in and added a synopsis to an episode and got 961 points for it. I'm not complaining at all, mostly just curious as to how this is determined. I looked in the details of what I wrote and I couldn't come up with anything close to the point value. If anyone can shed some light on this I would be appreciative. Thanks!

When adding associations like locations or cliches, you get one point for each page attached.

Its always worth more to add an article or synopsis to something. I'm not sure how it breaks down for articles, but I'm fairly sure it is tied to word count.

@rem25: Yeah, I'm not exactly sure how it works either, but the length and content of the text are both factors. I think it gives points for links and images, in addition to just plain text.

@PatVB: It does.

Make sure to link to other pages in the text (don't link every character or mention of actors, just once per article). Images also add quite a bit of points so it makes the wall of text look better (but again don't add too many to make it look gaudy).

@PatVB: @FinalDasa: I was thinking it might be word count too but that wasn't it either. Oh well. Thanks for the tip about images though, my wall of text does look a bit clunky!
