Reviews of Princess Mononoke and Human Centipede: Sequence II (I wish I had just read Alex's review and kept it at that).

Might as well stake my claim. No reviews because I'm sick and there's nothing worth a single damn out this weekend.

Monday's Criterion Cuts takes a look at a movie that already covered, and starts a three week series, with Three Colors: Blue.

Wednesday's Directed Viewing asks for it by taking a long hard look at Dr. Strangelove and saying: "No sir, I don't like it."

Friday Light Bondage slinks into the Moore years with the strange, not-terrible Live and Let Die.

And a late Friday review of Cabin in the Woods, which anyone who has ever loved horror movies should see.

Glad the site is finally starting to find some footing and that we can continue as usual!

I've got a review that I came out terribly conflicted on, but ended up going toward the positive with, for Fight For Your Right Revisited. I've also got a review for God Bless America.

On the blog, I'm continuing my little series TV as I Know It with Key and Peele. I revived an old effort to cover snacks and reviewed a surprising treat I found at a gas station, Lucky Charms Treats. And my push to write about trailers I see continues with write-ups on Take This Waltz, The Newsroom, and To Rome with Love.

---

Plans plans plans... I'm also planning on writing up Criterion Collection's Beastie Boys Video Anthology, because yup, and I'll do a few more trailer dingies.

New cliches: dramatic click (aka dramatic gun cock) / I Should Probably be Dead Now (the older brother of "just a flesh wound") / Stress Cigarette / God Complex / Lady in Red

New concepts: time loop / Mind Control / And the Adventure Continues / Experimental film / Opera / Time Skip / The Great Depression / --I also wrote up the French New Wave page.

New things: creepy painting / Kimono

I also have a list of some of the pages I created on the site.

@ashogo: Great list, though I have to admit that part of me was hoping for something different when I click on a link described as 'dramatic gun cock'

Hopefully this gif just plays. Stupid gif support. EDIT: it doesn't. Just click it for relevance.
