It's a good thing I look up this thread. I was confused about cliches and concepts and how awfully similar they are to each other. Plus, I'm a noob, and I couldn't think of cliches to add to my favorite TV shows I'm working on.

@Paulrus:

I had one smartass comment on my dA that Screened isn't TV Tropes which, admittingly, dwarf us when it comes to keeping track of concepts and cliches and all that jazz.

Don't worry if TV Tropes trump Screened. It's the same for Anime Vice where the Anime Wikia communities just looks down on them. All we can do is just keep working and cover things at a different angle.

Edit:

No, I meant don't think that TV Tropes beat Screened. We're better than them. Same goes for Anime Vice when we're competing with the other Anime Wikia communities.

My bad, I wasn't thinking straight.

@Acura_Max: @FinalDasa:

It's a funny thing. I thought Screened was actually doing better than Anime Vice since they had more foot traffic. My teammates and I were doing all sorts of crazy projects just to increase traffic from seasonal trailers, Quick Picks, discussion threads (like this one), and some other stuff. Every bit helps, but our community is shy. I haven't seen a new face in the discussion threads only in the battle threads.

Right now, I'm doing a different thing that should I have done two years ago. Work on across Whiskey Media Sites and promoting the wiki in both (even though we separated due to the schism). I'm getting my feet wet here and Comic Vine.

I admire you guys' efforts in promoting this community.

That's really good to hear. I was thinking of doing a joint project on a season of television (kind of like AV) with some wiki editors here. It would be really awesome if you helped. I was thinking of doing a show like Revolution or a new show in the spring.

edit: That was a really poor choice of words. I meant to say "It would be really awesome if you could help." I know you have a ton of things on your plate. Sorry for the confusion.
