For those of you newer to Screened you may have noticed some pages have an insane amount of information on them. And that's exactly what we want on Screened, way too specific information that has almost no other place to be. I'm sure even Wikipedia would think it uninteresting that during the Empire Strikes Back's filming it was so snowed in that several Hoth scenes were filmed simply outside the hotel's door. But on Screened that information has a home.
Unfortunately in the years since Screened's inception (BRRRRAAAWWWWWWW!) we have had plenty of pages added that encourage generic wiki editing. Pages like alcohol or suit sometimes are added just because a film has one or the other. A movie like Dark Knight Rises has both but neither are featured prominently in the plot nor have a great significance to the movie, yet both are connected to it.
So from here on out, the purge begins. Generic is out and specific is in. While pages like alcohol and suit may survive we don't want them to have 1,000s of connections that are meaningless. So add to this post any generic pages you know of or find along your editing adventures and we can discuss how each case can be handled. I'll do my best to go through what I can and hopefully set up new pages that are more specific and throw out some of the old.
