Inland Empire? Really? And I've seen Hard Candy several times, I GUESS it's disturbing but I'm kind of numb to it now.

@Kraznor:
Well to someone who has seen tons of gore flicks, I guess some of the stuff on my list isn't disturbing.  But to those who say that Saw is the most disturbing movie they've ever seen, I think the majority of my list trumps that.

I can't think of anything more disturbing than Salo. My memory is scarred by that movie.

the original Saw  fucked me sideways,

But nothing that I can think of other than that,
There are other films that have done it to me, but I can't remember them now.

I'm surprised Caligula hasn't posted in here yet, this topic seems right up his alley.

@Mistress_Redhead:  From other topics you've posted in it seems like you'd have lots of suggestions for this topic.

Is Lolita disturbing? When I got interested in Kubrick I read up on his earlier films, and I have to say the concept sounds offputting (It's about middle-aged man that falls in love with an 11 year old).

Personally, I don't watch horror/disturbing films. I'd rather be sensitive to that sort of thing, so when I do see that sort of thing in films it still has an impact.

Yeah, I thought Hard Candy was pretty tame and kinda boring if you ask me.

Not really, it's actually pretty funny.

Oh make no mistake, I really enjoy Hard Candy, I just don't find it that trying anymore. Movie's I'm scared to see, like Irreversible and Cannibal Holocaust, were all I was expecting to see here but I guess there are only so many of those.
