Today marks the 79th Anniversary of the first Drive in Movie Theater (thanks google) and while almost all of them are gone, they once were a great staple of film-going in America. So my question to you is, what movie do you think would be perfect to view at a Drive In?

The Fast and the Furious or any movie where you get a first person view from inside the car.

If you're alone in the parking lot, I would say a horror movie like Halloween. Nothing says tension like being alone in a parking lot, where a think layer of glass is the only thing protecting you from dudes have knives. Movies like E.T. or Super 8 would be great. The scenes such as the moon scene in E.T. might create more immersion since they match the background of the surroundings.

I would love going to a drive-in. Sometimes the movie theater is just so stuffy and a drive-in would be a breathe of fresh air (literally!).
