Personally I go alien. I love the art and direction from Scott while Cameron decided to make a film the frat boy jock wouldn't get bored during. Also james Cameron is an asshole

I feel like the actual answer should always be Ridley's Alien, but there's something about the personable and approachable nature of Cameron's Aliens that will always appeal to me. It's a film that's endlessly entertaining and constantly riveting; however, Alien is a film that is meticulously paced and delivers an experience that suffocates with its tangible tension and palpable atmosphere of dread and claustrophobia.

Aliens is one of those movies that feels effortlessly flawless. I've never really felt like going back and rewatching Alien. It felt pretty dated when I first saw it. And uh... wasn't a fan of seeing Sigourney Weaver in her panties.
You make me sick, freak-o!
I've always been blown away by people who prefer Aliens. I remember seeing Alien late one night when I was younger, it's just so tense, and I don't think I've ever been so shocked by anything as a head on a table talking with milk pouring out of it.
That said, I was verrrry young, and I haven't ever seen it since, so this could all be nostalgia.
