I like Paths of Glory,Barry Lyndon, and Eyes Wide Shut. I'll just throw out there Clockwork Orange is overrated garbage, but that's just me. The book is interesting for the language, but the movie is nonsensically thematically.

@tooPrime: Do you know what the film/book is really about? That may help you enjoy them more. They're pretty difficult to understand.

A clockwork orange will always be my fav kubrick flick.

for me its a tie between 2001 and clockwork... 2001 takes it though

Full Metal Jacket is his best in my less than humble.

Tough call, like trying to pick my favorite child. I gotta go with Full Metal Jacket. It was like two films in one. Very moving flick.

this list really showed me how many of his movies i still need to see

CLockwork, is still WOW! its really cool they haven't made a Remake of this one
