I hope I'm not stepping on toes here for doing this, but considering the month is almost up, there are a ton of Netflix movies expiring on Instant soon. I hope a lot of these get renewed given the fact Halloween is basically upon us.

Expiring 10/01:

Exorcist 2: The Heretic

Superman

Eight Men Out

12 Monkeys

Survival of the Dead

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Brick

Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th: Part 2

Friday the 13th: Part 3

Friday the 13th: Part 4: The Final Chapter

Friday the 13th: Part 6: Jason Lives

Friday the 13th: Part 7: The New Blood

Friday the 13th: Part 8

I'm sure there are more where this came from, but it's a pretty extensive list, especially if you like horror movies. Part of me really hopes the horror stuff stays, but I'm not so sure. Anyway, feel free to add any other movies (good or bad) so we know!

Online Now

@VioletEyedDragon: Netflix started out as a DVD-by-mail rental service. Netflix also streams movies and shows instantly, via computers, PS3, Wii, X-Box, and Blu Ray players.

sorry, my original post was poorly worded. i have netflix but before I posted I typed in "friday the 13th" into the search engine but it didn't offer that as an option. so i was guessing"netflix instant video" was something else. is that true?

@VioletEyedDragon: Oh, ok that makes sense now. If you pay for Netflix's streaming service (usually referred to as Instant Queue or Instant), you will have an option for some movies/tv shows to stream it via Blu-Ray, XBOX, Wii, PS3, smartphones, iPads, Roku, etc. instantly. There aren't a lot of newer releases on Instant, but there are lots of TV shows including newer ones like Battlestar Galactica, Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Walking Dead, etc.
