Hey everyone, I hope you're all having a great start to your week! Anyway, I was just looking through my Netflix Instant queue to see what I wanted to watch and saw that the following are expiring soon:

June 26:

Shutter Island

June 30:

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead

The Edge

July 1:

Interview with the Vampire

Lost Boys

Memento

Kagemusha

Airplane!

Creepshow

March of the Penguins

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

I know it's only a few days until they expire but better to be late than never!

I've run into a few of those, but there's a few I didn't know about that I may give another spin just before they wander off into the ether -- although truthfully Netflix has been doing some odd things lately of stating something is expiring and then suddenly restating them right away like the OSS films. Still thought...thanks for the heads up and all that jazz!

I've always meant to watch Kagemusha. Hopefully I can get around to watching it before the first.

at least its not as bad as last time when I tried to marathon Party Down only to get through 2 episodes when I realized I also needed to watch Toy Story 3 this time all I really need is Interview with a Vampire

Enter the Dragon and Delicatessen also expire on the first. I gotta watch Kagemusha this week!

I'm going to have to get to watching Memento soon then, I guess 8 months is a bit too long to sit in an instant queue.

I also noticed that Superman II is expiring on July 1, as well. I highly recommend it if you've never seen it. I'd call it the best Superman movie.

The Fly from 1958 is also expiring that day, but I'm probably the only one here in a hurry to watch it.

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalls, I missed out on Memento and Kagemusha!

@TheSavageAssasin: Actually, Memento didn't expire for some reason. I see it still listed in my Instant Queue.

@Toastburner_B: Superman is back on Instant Streaming so I guess there's that.

@rem25: It may expire at midnight July 1st. Though that's not how they usually do it. So who knows?

Post by rem25 (626 posts) See mini bio

@FinalDasa: I think they must have continued it's streaming or something. It doesn't even list an expiration date anymore though everything else I had listed for 7/1 expiring is gone. Weird stuff, I don't know.

For those interested in such things...they just reinstated Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West back into the streaming service and it's all HDafied!

I wish Netflix had a more concrete way to inform people about what was about to come onto the service and what was leaving for sure. I feel like I never get that information from the same source and rarely is it 100% accurate.

Looks like The Chaser will expire on the 9th of this month.
