The legendary documentarian Ken Burns will be debuting his new series The Dust Bowl on November 18 and 19 on PBS. Of course The Dust Bowl refers to the 1930s in the United States, or the Dirty Thirties, that caused massive damage to the agricultural and ecological areas of the nation with frequent droughts and dust storms. So expect a lot of zooming into pictures while sound effects and a quiet narration play in the background.
