I Check Movies is a website where, basically, you get a lot of movie lists. Most of them are from IMDb, but some are "Best Movies Ever" lists by a few prestigious movie critics. There are dozens upon dozens of lists there, and you basically check which movies you have seen from that list. Then you can see how many movies you still haven't watched from each of those lists.
 
I love the website simply because I can see on which classics I'm missing out, and because it introduced me to some great movies. The UI is incredibly well designed, which only makes it all the tempting easy to get hooked on the site. Thus far I've ticked 225 movies, and counting. You should totally try it out.
 
Oh, and you can totally compare your lists with "friends". Feel free to add me, my username is Snail.

I can't even bother to remember all the films I've watched. That would take me a week at least.

It's not all the movies you've watched (I don't think I can make that list either). It's how many movies from those lists you've watched. I think you can add movies that are not part of those lists but I don't see a point in that.

I've just been using netflix for my ratings for the last few years, honestly. Right now it's at 2203 rated, so ... that SOUNDS about right.

I've rated 819 movies on IMDB, I think I've watched more, though not a whole lot.
