Hello Screened Pups, I come before you today asking for your help. For a while now I've wanted to write a book on films, and after writing several blogs on the site here I'm fully energized to get it started. I've written a book before and after going through the nightmare that is publishers I'm just going to skip that this time and just do a digital self publishing. But before I actually start writing it I need an idea. You can't just write a book about movies, it has to be something more specific, it has to have something unique to it. So anyone have any ideas on what I should write about?

I would love a book about bad 80's and early 90's children films.

The reasons why some movies have polarizing (probably not the right word) fans, like the Dichotomy between Love/Hate and how they can be the same determining factor for 2 different people..

Remakes, which ones are pointless (EG: Psycho/ Quarantine) and which ones prove themselves necessary

The disconnect between advertising for movies and the actual movies themselves

Movies that take the influences and make the homages that work (Super 8 kinda)
