After seeing the success of Beasts of the Southern Wild this year, it reminded me of how powerful a festival Sundance still manages to be. After morphing in recent years into a festival for movies with low budgets but big name actors, it was nice to see the success of directors and actors that were completely unknown and indie. It restored my faith in the festival.
Devin Faraci and our BermanBraun YouTube partner CineFix travelled to Park City l to catch interviews with some of the known and unknown stars of the films in the festival. Below are some of my favorites. Perhaps it is the casting person that still lives inside me, but there is nothing like seeing a review, clip or video from a movie and then later being able to think that I thought it sounded awesome before anyone even knew what it ways. Here's to hoping you can do the same and find some gems here:
HE'S WAY MORE FAMOUS THAN YOU
Devin interviews, Michael Urie, Halley Feiffer and Ryan Spahn
ESCAPE FROM TOMORROW
Devin's favorite Sundance movie in years, he interviews star Roy Abramsohn
AUSTENLAND

KARAOKE!
Devin speaks with short film director Andrew Renzi. Is he a budding new director to watch?
