I've noticed a lot of movies have lights flickering on and off during fight scenes usually caused by a swinging or damaged light.

I looked through the cliches and didn't see anything like this.

I'd say it is! I don't recall ever seeing that one on the site. Maybe check out some of the films that uses the cliche and see if any of them have it?

I think so too. Sadly, I can't seem to remember such movies having this besides Fight Club. Note me if I'm wrong.

@Bigheart711: I know two movies that definitely has it, The Man From Nowhere and I Saw The Devil both have fight scenes like this. I have a pretty terrible memory so I can't remember the exact movies but I know I've seen this happen a lot.

Anybody have any ideas on what to call this? I've got nothing so far.

Can't think of an example of a fight scene .. but it happened in Black Swan :)
