The LA Times is reporting that Warner Brothers is moving ahead with a Justice League movie for a summer 2015 release. Going the opposite of the Marvel direction and just having the super team up happen right away. Firstly I'm skeptical this is actually happening until there is an official press release and trailer. Still since my comic loyalty is mostly towards DC at this point the prospects of a proper Justice League movie is kind of awesome. If it were to come out in the summer of 2015 it could go a long way in recreating this previous summers comic book theme with The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-man,Dredd all released close to one another.
What's your Justice League roster if you could make one? Off the top of the head, it would be Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern (backdoor reboot for that franchise), The Flash (could spin him off), than a solid character like Cyborg or perhaps Aquaman. The last three on that list don't seem like great choices to have their own spin-off films. Showing up in a Superman or Batman movie sure but headlining their own not yet. Just making it is the best thing they could do at this point. I'd worry about how the characters would be handeled and explored but those were the same worries The Avengers had going in and look how that turned out. Going more than 5 main characters is a stretch in my book and Justice League isn't Ocean's 11
