So I got bored at the office so a mate and I started playing a game. Just make up a fake name for your fake indie movie.

An Impossible Possibility.

That took me a lot longer than I'd like to admit to come up with that name.

HD: Humanity's degradation.

It'll be a film focusing on the devaluing nature of hi-res video and how it enables humanity to become depended on digitized characters and fictional events. Thus, humankind begins to eschew real-life activities and bonds in favour of losing themselves in fictitious universes. It'll be written by Charlie Brooker.

A Man Without - a story about a man who finds himself on the outside, looking in as his friends and family live their lives, and he is stuck in a rut of the same humdrum daily existence. He is both without a life, and without (outside) life.

Who's That? - It will be two men bringing on a huge thing covered by a curtain onto a stage. The item fills the screen and then the curtain is taken off it and it's a mirror. The footage will be recorded at a small theatre screen so it looks like a mirror image of the theatre you're in only with different people. The people on the actual film will be actors

It will be about stress of a group of people together trying to compromise and get along. They'll also get totally angry about social ettiquette, particularly that of a movie theatre and will want to watch to see what happens in the movie they're watching (which is you, the honest audience), but when no one in the honest audience makes any noise, they'll start theorising. The people don't know what's going on and they will try and decide who the people on the screen are which will add mystery, but their preconceptions will bite them in the arse later. Then they'll leave and talk about how shitty that movie was. And then you the honest audience will leave and talk about how shitty that movie was.

It's about a man who gets run over by a train. It's a metaphor for heroin addiction. See you at Sundance.
