Hope your doing well Rorie!

Just wondering if there any chance of a podcast of any sort coming back if you could?

I know you're into biking. I was wondering what gear you would recommend or "never bike without"?

Good luck in future life!

Q1 - If I could genetically modify a dog to stay in puppy form its whole life, would you do it?

Q2 - If you were to become a teacher, what movie stereotype of a teacher would you be?

Rorie! I'm sure you've been asked before, but can you talk about your side of the Whiskey implosion? Seems like you kind of got shafted whereas everyone else got a nice promotion. But that's just how it seems on our side.

But more on movies, are there any acclaimed director's you just don't like? For example, I can't watch Tarantino-  I feel like he sacrifices plot for suspense, and eventually the suspense overstays its welcome and becomes boring. Watching Inglorious Basterds, I couldn't help but think "I get it, get on with it".  Reservoir Dogs is his only movie I really, authentically like. Pulp is alright, but there are better things.
Also, general thoughts on Donnie Darko? My personal favorite movie. It's a full movie where everything is relevant with little fluff- very purposefully made. The Lord of the Flies of film.
At least the director's cut. Let's not talk about the uncut version. If you don't know the difference, the main thing as that the uncut version shows the book pages, which robs the movie of most of the mystery and muddles everything up. It's like if they didn't cut at the end of the last shot of Inception.

If this stuff has been asked or discussed already, feel free to skip over this post. I'm sure you have plenty of other stuff to go over.

Yeah, I'm a little curious about why you're leaving the site as well. Did the new overlords (I say that without any kind of malice) want to take the site in a direction you weren't interested in, or did you just decide that now was a good time to look for something else given the amount of work you've been putting into the site since Alex moved to New York?

Anyway, do you see yourself getting caught up on some TV or movies you missed now that you're not so busy with the site? And will the way in which you watch movies (or enjoy movies maybe, I'm having a hard time articulating this idea) change now that you aren't reviewing them (temporarily I hope).

Hey Rorie,

I know you talked about taking some time off, but did you want to stay writing about movies? Or would you consider going to Giant Bomb if they asked. Like others here we all feel like you got thrown to the wolves and would like to see you do well.

Also as someone who recently got let go from a job, I felt the desire to go back to school and get a different degree getting stronger the closer I felt the news coming about layoffs.
