A number of sites are reporting that Tony Scott passed away tonight. I sincerely hope this isn't true, but if it is, he will certainly be missed. The LA County Coroner has stated that Scott jumped from a bridge in Long Beach, California, and that he left a suicide note in his car. The death of anyone is a tragedy, but this is especially true for suicides. At the risk of sounding like a public access PSA, I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that, if you are ever feeling depressed or suicidal, to please talk to somebody. It can, and will, get better.
