Week 8 then... That happened. Look, Hollywood, I know that next week is The Dark Knight Rises, but I'm fairly certain that you don't need to clear the entire weekend previous to it! People will still see films if they're exciting or interesting enough! Nevertheless, this week, roughly everything performed as expected, bar one extremely amazing performance for a very sh*t looking film. However, there are big points being distributed this week, despite the lack of films and competitors. Here come the results! Reminder: it's 1 point for being closest and 2 points for being dead on.

So, interesting weekend, then. Sadly,

awesome.

also, I can't believe THE OBAMA EFFECT did that well. i mean it isn't a fantastic opening, but seeing as watching the trailer didn't even convey whether it was pro or anti Obama i think it is a pretty big surprise.

I can't wait for this week 9. Finally, I get to use the really big numbers (The Amazing Spider-Man did not count since it was a 6 day total). This will be an interesting week.

@VioletEyedDragon: That was probably a significant reason why the movie did well. Picking a side would have alienated some movie goers and divided their gross.

I guess you're right. it looked pretty unfunny, and in ways that both Democrats and Republicans agree on.

Son of a bitch! I almost want to give up. Six goose eggs. T_T >_<

But I know that I'm still only one point behind. I've got this... Or do I?
