OK, first of all, thanks to all of you for your continued patience during this annoying as hell time. It's not been a smooth week for me and such endeavours have negatively impacted our fun little game. Apologies. So, I won't waste any more of your time (or, for that matter, my time as I now have to run off and write THIS WEEK'S round). Here are the results for Week 9! Reminder, it's 1 point for being closest and 2 points for being dead on with wide releases or within $500 either side of the limited releases (yes, I have just added that rule but this week is the first time it's happened and I feel stupid for not having thought of it earlier).

So, congrats to @obscurefan for finally getting on the scoreboard with not one but two points! And major congrats must be given to @meaninoflife42 and @staceywi for their hard earned two points each. I mean, damn! So darn close to being on the button! Well done to you guys! And, lastly, begrudging congratulations must be handed out to @RockinKemosabe for taking The Queen Of Versailles. I say begrudging, because I bet $20,000 and he bet $21,000 so he "Previous Bet + $1-ed" me, essentially! SEACREST!!!

I'm not sure how I feel about all these constantly changing rules. Before it's dead on, now you can be within $500 for limited release movies?

@RockinKemosabe I know how this looks. But, sometimes, I come up with ideas and I feel like I just have to try them out. It's a flawed system I have so far, I'm still working out the kinks and, sometimes, I may seem to step over lines. For that, I apologise.

On the other hand, though, I am just trying to make the game better. And when the Winter season comes around (because I'm hoping to do a Winter season, I've had a lot of fun with this, mostly), I should have a fully fine-tuned and almost perfect game and system.

It's like Burnout Paradise, essentially. The initial product was an obvious beta, but then they added things, altered things slightly and, eventually, they had an almost perfect game!

However, I do understand your concerns and trepidations. For those, I apologise but keep giving me feedback! With your feedback (and the feedback of others) I can make the game you want to play!

@jackanderson: I feel like I want to say I'm okay with the new within $500 rule, but it might look rather fishy with my recent win of two points and jump in to second place. And, oh yeah, I'm in second place!

My rise to victory will come. I can see it now. T_T

It looks like I have to take extreme measures to win this one (Mary Elizabeth Winstead style!) . For added luck, I shall use Shia Labeouf as my profile picture. Shia Labeouf is bound to be lucky. How else can you explain how he keeps getting roles even though he bad mouthed two of his movies.

@jackanderson: I hope the Winter season includes September and November because this game is the reason why I come here. Thank you sir for a fun game.
