I really don't mind the guy. He is never bad enough to offend me. Most if not all of his movies I tend to enjoy. I also like M. Night and Sam Worthington so take that as you may. The only reason I wonder is he seems to get pretty decent roles and he has at least 3 or 4 movies at the beginning of this year, including Haywire, The Vow and 21 Jump Street, which i'm pretty excited to see. He also has a couple summer movies too. So as always love to hear what you guys think.

He's been pretty wooden so far. But I'm sure he's not really being offered the stuff Daniel Day-Lewis turns down.

You're right in that he seems to have an interesting year coming up. I did laugh at the 21 JUMP STREET trailer, but we'll see if it can sustain that humour for two hours.

Most interesting of all is Soderbergh's MAGIC MIKE, the male stripper movie Tatum is also producing, which is based on his life.

So, I guess this will be the year when we see if C-Tates can sustain a career outside of beefcake roles.

I just don't think he's that good. In the clip of Haywire that was posted a while back, he seemed like he was trying too hard. And all he had to do was look tired! He's just not very convincing.

Never seen a movie with him in it I don't think, but I hate his stupid-looking face, and, for the most part, his choice in movies to headline.

I don't care for his films, but I'm weirdly looking forward to 21 Jump Street. I have no issue with him. He reminds me of one of those guys everyone knew in high school or college, the one who's kind of a douchebag on the surface but when you get to know him, he's an okay guy. I'm purely basing that on the fact that JGL is good friends with him.

@will_leisure: Had no idea him and JGL were buddies. Who would of thought. So far people seemnot to like him at all. I'll admit he is not that good of an actor but he must be doing something right to get a lot of roles. Most in which he is staring. Even if those movies are not really considered "great" movies but most of which I tend to enjoy on some level.

@GreatestEver99 Well he's not bad looking and he's in good shape, so maybe that's what he's doing right. I don't hate the guy, but I don't think he can act. Though, I'll admit I haven't seen him in much.

I enjoy him as a person and also when he plays the "lovable doofus" like in Haywire. When he tries to act seriously he is one of the worst working A listers in the business.

I don't get what he really brings to any kind of role. He just seems like another young guy but people talk about him more than the thousand other young male actors who look just like him and have about as much talent.
