I have an irrational soft-spot for Pan's Labyrinth.

The first Hellboy is one of my favorite "sit down with a big bowl of popcorn" movies. I just get a kick out of everything in that film. It's not just how remarkable everything looks, it's the sense of humor that all the characters have that makes it so charming to me. Most superhero movies are flat or too serious, but this one is very irreverent while also being action packed and even romantic.Totally agree.
