I've been rewatching a few of the above for something that we're doing next week, and I think a valid claim could be made for almost any of them. The Village is probably the best of the lot, but it's still pretty bad (even though I remember kind of liking it when I saw it in theaters).

You're an informal poll.

It has to be Last Airbender.

It's not on the list, but I might be one of the few guys who liked the Devil in the elevator movie.

The Village and Lady in the Water are both pretty bad, but have a few admirable parts in it, The Village has more of course. But wow is The Happening ever on a whole different level of bad. As for The Last Airbender I have completely ignored it and successfully not seen it.

Devil isn't an M. Night movie though. He produced it and has a story credit, thats it. I kind of liked it too though.

My vote is for The Happening. That movie is atrocious.

Haven't seen The Last Airbender (yet?), so I went with The Happening.

Haven't seen Airbender, so it was a toss-up between Lady in the Water and The Happening. I went for LitW, due to the fact that The Happening can be viewed as unintentional comedy, while Lady in the Water is just shitty.

I feel like for me the biggest problem with The Village is the expectation for it. Back when I first saw it I thought Shyamanlan was just in a slump. From a movie going standpoint it isn't a bad movie so much as completely forgettable. It doesn't offend or surprise it just exists.

My vote is for The Last Airbender. Perhaps I wouldn't think so lowly of it if I could separate that film from the original content. I feel like there should be a disclaimer "based on a tv show" instead of marketing it as a live action adaptation.

This. If it had a decent director we might've had a fun family movie. But no. It was so bad I had to stop after less than half an hour. I don't know that the others had any potential whatsoever -- I've so far had the good sense to avoid Lady in the Water and the Happening (which I get the impression might be kind of funny ...). But Airbender could have been a contender (sorry), so it gets my worst vote.

I only watched The Village, I was so disappointed I stop caring about his movies. But I loved The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable!

Only 40.5% for The Happening? "What? No!"

"Just when you thought there was no more evil that could be invented".

With writing like that how can it not to go The Happening. It made competent actors worse than the cast of a SyFy B-Movie. And don't even get me started on that abomination of a story.

i think the answer is clear.

I've never been angry after watching a film, except for The Happening. I watched it with my brother and when it was over we flipped out at what a horrible waste of time it was. Once I read about the film's 'message' it made me even angrier.

I think Lady in the Water hurt my brain more, but it has to be the Last Airbender. Just an objectively awful movie in every way possible, despite working with ostensibly good source material, with terrible 3D as the shitty bonus.

The Happening at least had Zooey, Air Bender had no redeeming qualities what so ever.

Where's the Sixth Sense option?

I have never seen an M. Night movie, and I have no idea what the Happening is about and after watching the six minute clip above I feel like I know even less about it.
