Now that The Avengers, possibly the biggest movie of 2012, is out, what other big Summer flick are you most looking forward to?

It's got to be Prometheus for me, because all the trailers and footage have looked incredible.

It's a close runoff between Amazing Spider-Man and Dark Knight Rises but Dark Knight wins. I have expectations for that new movie that I don't have for Spider-Man.

The Dark Knight Rises for me. I'm definitely going to see Brave, Prometheus, MIB3, and Amazing Spider-Man but TDKR takes the cake.

The Dark Knight Rises is also the cherry on top of 2012 for me. The trailer alone made Avengers worth it.

Since you made me choose, I chose The Dark Knight Rises.

TDKR for sure!

Prometheus, baby!

I was going to say Moonrise Kingdom but that wasn't an option so I voted for Prometheus. So excited for both!

Funny how only two films have been picked, I'm guilty too. The Batman trilogy is such a great example of a film that is loved by both the general populace and us more hardcore people and I'm so excited for the new one

Dark Knight Rises, it's going to be hard to top The Avengers though.

No love for any of the other movies, crazy.

Prometheus. Have no interest in TDKR whatsoever. That last trailer just made me lose all interest I had in the film. I was previously disinterested in The Amazing Spider-Man but upon seeing the most recent trailer I'm now thrilled for it. For third place it has to be The Bourne Legacy. Jeremy Renner is an awesome actor and the Bourne series has been great so far and even though this one doesn't feature Bourne it still looks really good.

Hm, I didn't expect it to be quite this one-sided.

Besides The Dark Knight Rises, Prometheus, Moonrise Kingdom, Brave and The Amazing Spider-Man, I am really looking forward to The Dictator. I haven't seen Borat or Bruno, but the interviews I have seen of the Dictator are hilarious.

Brave has always been my most anticipated. I've been waiting for a good Pixar movie since 2008's Wall-E. I have strong hopes for this since it's not a sequel and it's their first film with a female lead.

@PenguinDust: You didn't think UP was good?

I pick HOPE SPRINGS.

@CrimsonAvenger:

Is this the trailer you're talking about? Why do I sense that Levitt will become Batman and some point in this film? Also... I think I might hate this Bane.

I didn't dislike UP just as I didn't dislike Toy Story 3, it's just that neither made me feel the same level of excitement and joy that earlier Pixar movies had. The first 10 or 15 minutes of UP was moving but then the rest of it just plodded along for me. I guess I just never connected with any of the characters the way I had in their other offerings. People tell me UP is great and I shrug my shoulders and say, "yeah, it's okay.". A year ago, I ranked them (not including TS3) this way. Rank the Pixar/Disney Catalogue!
