Bret Mackenzie is an Oscar winner, that blows my flippin' mind man!

The show is on air at 8:30AM on Monday from where I lived. Somehow I've managed to avoid yahoo news, msn news and any other internet news almost all day.

Then I clicked this post because it's just to much pressure. Too much...

I was only really disappointed that Viola Davis didn't win. That was a shame.

Did I miss anything? I was busy watching zombies get shot, stabbed, and their heads run over. Also, jousting.

Haha! I'm glad I wasn't the only one watching Full Metal Jousting tonight. Good episode too - for once, there was a high scoring, fairly violent joust to close out the episode. Hopefully the jousters are getting good now and all the matches will be great going forward.

This is hands down the best picture from the Oscars:

It would be the best image ever if Emma Stone was holding Uggy.

emma stone is not attractive.

I woke up to the Angelina Right Leg meme, it's probably already old by now...

Rooney Mara should have won for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Meryl Streep is great but I think Mara's performance is more impressive. And I can agree with everyone's sentiment on Christopher Plummer's speech; it was brilliant. Emma Stone was pretty funny last night as well.

How did Rise of Planet of the Apes not win the visual effects category? Do the voters think those were real monkeys?

Post by MooseyMcMan (113 posts) See mini bio

F*** you, Oscars. Rise of the Planet of the Apes didn't win best special effects?

This is why I didn't watch. I knew it'd just make me angry because they always ignore the movies of the "common man."

I'm actually glad for this turnout of events, especially for The Artist and being mesmerized by Emma Stone and Michelle Williams .

All the "Best Picture" links are misplaced. Just noting that so you can fix it with your massive editing powers.

What does it say about me that I have zero interest in 90% of the nominated films?

MAAAAAAAAAAN now I have to watch The Artist so I can properly bitch and complain about Gary Oldman being snubbed...via facts...or I could just watch Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy when it comes to dvd and not throw my arms up like a child...
