I watched the series when it was streaming on netflix and I really got into it. It's only four hour long episodes and it's fun. The story revolves around Francis Urquhart and his rise to prime minister in the British government. I think if I get a chance I'll write a review for it. But basically I'd give it a 5/5 for its fresh perspective on political 'drama' and interesting character development and narration.
There's also a remake coming some time soon on Netflix so it would be a good idea to check out the original. Although I find it hard to believe they can find an actor who can replace Ian Richardson.
