Hidden Gems

A truly great and funny movie. The movie is basically about getting a nightlife, friendship and picking up girls. The movie's about Mike (Jon Favreau). A  brave but not confident young man who constantly thinks about his ex-girlfriend and his poor attempts to rekindle his love life. Trent (Vince Vaughn)  always gives him encouragement and inspiration.Trent is kinda really the star of this movie. He has great charisma and is extremely funny.
Trent teaches us to ALWAYS double down on an eleven in black jack and how many days to wait before you call the girl for the first time. One of the best scenes in this movie has to be when Trent and Sue are talking to Mike in the lounge and are trying get Mike to ask a girl at the bar for her phone number. The "big bad bear and little bunny" analogy they use is hilarious.   The film literally makes you feel happy for Mike when he meets Lorraine (Heather Graham) at the end of the movie. We see Trent and Sue watching their buddy in amazement but we know that they are actually proud of him. Mike really was money and he didn't even know it.  

Yeah, this movie is great.

And try not to reel in wonderment at how skinny Vince Vaughn used to be.

@CashBailey: Yep, those where definitely Vince's "salad days." Vince, Jon, Ron Livingston, and Patrick Van Horn were all friends and starving actors at the time they made this film. Vince and Jon had been in "Rudy" before this and got lil' roles after that until they made "Swingers."

Just watched this movie tonight.  It is absolutely hilarious.
