Like movies that open with a no-dialogue, sawed-off shotgun bank robbery and Ferrari getaway? I sure do. This police/horror/sci-fi movie balances its gore with enough action and mystery to keep fans of any of those genres entertained. Nominal star (and FBI Agent Callahan) Kyle MacLachlan played a string of earnest-but-enigmatic characters throughout the 1980s and this is one of his best vehicles for that combo.
