The Road to El Dorado is one of my favorite animated films that I feel that no one else knows about. Has any one else seen it, and what are your thoughts?

Road to el dorado is a funny animated movie. It has kinky parts as well.

@ScanCase:  Haha yeah. It's alright though, she was drawn very curvy and had "bad intentions"

As far as non-Disney / non-Miyazaki 2D animated movies go, it's among the better quality movies out there.  Perhaps not my favorite (that would be the Thief and the Cobbler) but still far better than a substantial number of the current CG movies directed toward kids.  And, yes Chel was (cartoon) hot.

It's been awhile since I've seen it, but I remember enjoying it quite a bit! It's really a great movie! One of the better non-Disney traditionally animated movies out there in my opinion, at least of the recent years.

I, also, have not seen it in awhile, but I redeem myself by saying that I might have watched the movie over 40 times when I was younger. All I know is that I used to be able to quote it line for line. Every time.

I loved that movie as a kid. I bet it would still hold up quite well. I'll have to see if I can find it on DVD somewhere.

Great film, absurdly likeable characters and a great follow-through from The Prince of Egypt. Had really hoped that Dreamworks Animated Pictures could have kept going in this direction instead of devolving into pop culture references and characters raising eye brows.

I loved the characters. I loved the soundtrack. I love quoting the movie. It's still one of my "rainy day" movies.

I think it often gets drown out by other films because it's not a Disney/Pixar film.

This is still one of my favorite scenes in all of moviedom

I remember loving the voice casting in this film. Kline and Branagh are great together.

just watched this again in spanish class- holds up well, and I found the mix of 3d and 2d animation very interesting, though, I think The Emperor's New Groove is a much funnier, more accessible film for all.

This brings back memories. I haven't seen that movie in a long time but  did really enjoy it as a kid.

I saw this many years ago while babysitting and was not that into it but at least two people in my social circle really love it so may have to see it again.

Jeez, the summary for this film on Rotten Tomatoes is written terribly.

I watched it again recently...ish, actually. It has some really neat stuff and some really odd stuff. Perhaps Elton John's worst songs, but the theme song for it is really good.

Miguel and Tulio are great characters.

I haven't seen or heard of it since it first came out on video/dvd , but I remember hating it. Perhaps I need to revisit it?
