I know that not everyone loved the movie, but god damn if this isn't a well made score. It's quite calm, and is constructed of piano and percussion pieces. Much like the film, it will bore a lot of you. Literally, this is a really quiet, subtle, calm, "meditation-mode" fest. This is best for when you want to think, reflect, or just do something in peace. You who like really emotional, raw, uplifting and saddening film scores, this is a great one for the music library. It's done by Tim DeLaughter, an excellent, talented musician worthy of your recognition.

For those who haven't enjoyed the music in the film, or the film itself, I suggest that you download "A New Beginning", and that alone. It's the best song on the soundtrack, and has the most going on for it. But do indeed listen to the samples, and see if it's you're cup of tea. It's similar to the piano pieces from Soderbergh's "The Informant!" by Marvin Hamlisch, and those are freaking blissful!  So if you're in the mood for moody, emotional Jon Brion-esque tunes, go crazy on the Visioneers soundtrack. Though I'd obviously recommend seeing the film 1st. Visioneers is an excellent indie film that concentrates more on drama than comedy, but both are present and if you are paying attention to the film, you'll take in both with ease, and have a great time. Plus, that f*cking ending... beautiful.
