Accused man out on bail marries the surety ordered to keep an eye on him

Oh man, this is a romantic comedy that wrote itself. Someone get the rights for this movie:

Short version, a man is out on bail for drug and sex related charges. The reluctant woman persuade by her mother to be the man's surety (guardian or guarantee) . The court order the woman to keep a close tabs on the man. And they fall in love.

They want to get marry, but the man is still under charges and might go to jail! The couple opposed all obstacles and get married before the judgement. And together, they hear the judges declared them.... Not guilty

The couple lived happily ever after...

or if this is a drama or thriller movie, we find out in the end the guy is actually guilty (for dramatic effect, not that I want the real guy to be guilty)

I wonder who could play the role of the couple in this TV-movie (let's face it, I don't think this can be a feature film).

The couple look like this:

I am thinking James Kyson Lee or John Cho, but I can't think of a actress to play the surety.

Without actually seeing the movie, my first thought was the sequel to The Bounty Hunter

Interesting but I don't think they really have anything like this in the U.S. at least as far as people accused of a crime. There are bail bonds men, but to the best of my knowledge, they don't keep tabs on their releases and instead send out the bounty hunters when the accused fails to make their court appearance.

Yea, just stick her with the role and be done with it.
