So recently I have found myself with some time on my hands. With that free time I have been dealing with a great number of things. Depression, anger, and as always, the weight of the world (every ones favorite). Along with that I have been looking for something I lost some time ago, my voice. Next to ones mind it's a funny thing to lose. Now you may ask yourself, "How did I get Here?" Well let me explain............

For the past 12 years I have been working overnight 3rd shift. That is up until recently. Back in July I was asked to leave my job, asked in the sense that they no longer wanted to pay for someone with my years of experience when they could bring in someone at half of my salary. So I was "persuaded" to seek employment elsewhere. Since then it has been interview after interview, where either I was under qualified, or my new favorite overly qualified. Apparently the country is in a recession as well, shame they don't cover that in the news? Now, standing on the edge of Foreclosure..............see there's where the depression and anger come in.........I find myself awake till all hours of the night.

This "extra" free time has given me the chance to more then just peruse some of my favorite websites. I am married and a father, so my time online was mostly spent checking mail and quick updates on the latest films and games. But I have always wanted to share my love of the cinema with others, it amazes me how many people haven't seen ___________, well quite a number of films. So after so little practical time writing blogs and posting reviews, I seek to once again reclaim my voice. Something I haven't had to use much since college, funny how life works that way. So here I am, just as my son is beginning to learn how to speak, I am reacquainting myself with the English language. So I apologize in advance for any bad language. I don't mean swearing, I mean split infinitives and the like. And hopefully as I regain the use of my voice I will be able to thrill and entertain, bring hope and wonder to you, and mostly share my passion of film with you! Until that day though, you'll have to put up with shit like this!!
