I have a lot of opinions that other people seem to think are "wrong." With your indulgence, I'd like to share them with you. I'll update this as I think of more, but here is the list so far:

• Girl Scout Cookies do not taste good.
• Mass Effect 1 is far and away the best Mass Effect game.
• Alien 3 is a perfectly fine movie.
• Yellow is the best flavor of Starburst.
• Purple is the best flavor of Skittles.
• Robin Williams is annoying.
• I don't like Betty White.
• Bowling for Soup and Panic(!) at the Disco are excellent bands.

So what do you think? Do you agree with some of these, or am I just a crazy jerk? Do YOU have any opinions you want to get off your chest?

Hmmm, well I agree with some of your crackpot beliefs

1. Three Girl Scout cookies are good: Thin Mints, Samoas and Tagalongs. The rest do not taste good.
2. I like them about equal. ME1's story, characters and RPG elements are better, but ME2's combat and lack of MAKO missions are better (I hate MAKO missions).
3. No, Alien 3 is crap. I will never forgive them for killing off Newt and Hicks without a second thought. Never.
4. Yellow can't be the best flavor since Red is. Hell, they even make a bag that's nothing but Red. There's no "nothing but yellow" bags.
5. Honestly, I can't tell one Skittle flavor from another.

I think the Mass Effect one is most open to interpretation.

Skittles I ain't got no problem with.

HOWEVER, if you don't like Girl Scout cookies you don't like sugar. WHICH MEANS YOU DON'T LIKE AMERICA.

Related to your sugar hating bit, I can see why you wouldn't like Red and Pink starbursts, the most delicious (most sugar'd?) bursts.

I've never seen Aliens 3, but my friend likes Aliens 4.

I don't know if many would disagree with your Robin Williams bit though.

• Wouldn't know about Girl Scout Cookies because we don't get them in the UK.

• Girl Scout Cookies only exist in American TV shows; I suspect they are simply an elaborate in-joke that us Europeans simply fail to understand.
• Mass Effect 1 had its charms (the MAKO was actually somewhat decent) but the sense of scale in ME2 makes it a superior game (despite the horrible hovercraft-MAKO substitute).

• Red trumps Yellow with relative ease.
• You're not far off, but once again Red wins out. I will say, though, that Purple manages to snag second place.
• Sometimes he's fine, but I get why some people can't stand him at all.

Ok, so maybe I was being a little reductive about the Mass Effect thing. Mass Effect 2 is a better game from a technical standpoint, but I liked the story in ME1 a lot more.

The rest of the stuff I will never budge on.

Purple is the best flavour in most candies! I always save the purple, orange and red ones till last.

All I can say on that list is that I gave Mass Effect 1. It's still broken, buggy, and devoid of any fun, but it's not awful. It's also not nearly as good as ME2. I thought I would like how many more talents were in ME1 compared to 2, but there was so much overlap. The characters in ME2 were better from a story perspective and more specialized from a gameplay perspective.

Robin Williams can be amazing. It's all about the script he's given.

Now, my turn:

• M. Night Shyamalan has never made a good movie.
• SNL has never been funny.
• Theodore Roosevelt is the best president of all time.
• Jay Leno is not the spawn of Satan.
• Oz is the best HBO show of all time.
• Mad Men is boring.

I've always wondered if the girl scouts got pissed that the dollar stores co-opted the best cookies, thin mints and those chocolate peanut butter ones. I mean, they're the same sized box, they only cost like a buck and are available all the time.

Also, I thought Portal 2 was boring as fuck.

We have a lot in common.

• I liked the lemon Girl Scout cookies but they don't sell them anymore so therefore GSCs are crap.
• Have never played Mass Effect.

The only one I disagree with you on really is ME1, I love that game but ME2 is in my top 5 all time favorite games.

I've never tried Girl Scout Cookies, they're not trusted enough to sell baked goods door-to-door in this country.

ORANGE is the best flavour Skittle *AND* Opal Fruit/Starburst!!

However, the professionals say that's not enough to qualify you as crazy, or a jerk. So I beat them to death with a pillow case full of orange flavoured sweeties ;)

But he is, at least for a brief moment apparently, a companion in ME3. So that logic dictates that ME3 is the best Mass Effect game which I am in no way comfortable in saying.

ME 1 has a story that actually makes sense even if the characters aren't quite as strong. It had a much better villain than ME2, in that the villain actually had a plan that made logical sense and was not completely stupid. The Mako added a sense of scale and dare I say wonder to the universe that was lost in ME2. The universe in ME1 obviously borrowed elements from other sci-fi series but it came together in a way that made it all seem new and fresh and perhaps most importantly believable. In ME2 the universe got Star Wars-ified, from a giant space station somehow run and operated by violent criminals, to a junk planet. On the gameplay side ME2 is obviously better but it was still an average TPS and on insane ME2 was immensely frustrating to play with every shitty gameplay quirk coming out to ruin the game. I like ME1 better by a bit .

Robin Williams is alright I think his comedy is played out and he should focus solely on serious roles.
