Hi all,

Ever since joining screened, I have become more interested in writing about film. In uni, I got a paid position at my newspaper and had a blast learning the journo trade. This summer (read: 3 weeks) I'll be moving to Toronto to work at a movie magazine and for a tv production company (I was a PA for the tv company a week ago and they liked me)

So yes. Thanks for my life Screened.

Oh and I live 20mins away from the downtown Toronto IMAX Theatre and the TIFF Lightbox (where the TIFF festival is held). It's a dream come true!

AMAZING, and CONGRATS! Although we know that the real help came from Tommy Wiseau. Let him into your heart, and you can accomplish anything.

Could you explain how you got the job at the paper?

Internship, but I freelanced for the magazine over a year. I just pitched them and bothered them until I was given something. With the tv company, I was a PA for a tvshow last week and they liked me enough to let me work for them in Toronto.

Sweet! Just remember when you become a big shot Editor in Chief or something, to shout out Screened whenever possible! :P

@GiveUpNed: That's awesome dude. It's great when persistence pays off.

It would be awesome to see a few blogs about your new gig. "The life of a PA" kind of thing. I'm sure we'd all love to get an inside glimpse at that weird world.

Also, I've heard great things about Toronto, so that should be pretty sweet. Go Leafs!? ;)
