What should be eaten during a solid movie watching?

Theatre and at-home are obviously different paradigms.  I'd go for popcorn in all scenarios, candy only in theatres.

Ben and Jerry's ice-cream is pretty good, while watching a movie or otherwise :)

Popcorn's surprisingly horrible for you, especially theater corn. I recommend a good granola bar, or perhaps some bran.

No... Nachos are awesome, but they aren't on the same level as popcorn. Go into almost any movie theater and I bet that there will be more people with popcorn than people with nachos.

I like eating popcorn chicken during a movie for some reason.

You know, I never really thought of having popcorn chicken in a movie theater. But that actually sounds pretty good! I imagine that it's quite easy to conceal, not to mention cheaper than the popcorn. Tell me, do you bring anything else besides the chicken? Maybe a drink of some kind?

@Fullmetal216: nah. I don't like to have a drink because then going to the washroom will be in the back of my mind. I don't really have to conceal the chicken though, there's a KFC in the theatre for convenience.

Hold on a sec... You are telling me, that you have a KFC IN THE THEATRE? Where is said theatre? I MUST KNOW!

@Fullmetal216: hahaha, as far as I know, fast food kiosks are common in Canadian theatres. every one I've been to anyway.

I like liquids while I watch my movies. Either pepsi or water presumably.

I think popcorn can actually be pretty good for if you don't use any oil or butter to make it.

I've combined these 2 lifehacker articles for excellent results:

Buttered popcorn which for some reason, you can't get at a movie theater in the UK!

For at home watching, I enjoy eating cheese fries and things that don't crunch very much when chewing.  As for the theatres, I rarely eat anything.  At most, I'll get a Coke.  The prices are just outrageous and I'm never that hungry when I go.
