The Embarrassing Problem of Being Busy

Hey Pups, I don't normally write to you guys directly but I find myself needing to apologize. You see, I spent most of the summer unemployed, which left me lot of time to watch movies and stuff, though ultimately of course not something I could keep up forever. Now that I'm back to work, I'm still trying to keep up my publishing schedule (2-3 articles a week plus at least one review), because writing about movies makes me wondrously happy, but honestly I just don't have the time to keep cross-posting them to screened right now.

I don't know how many of you have used multiple CMS editors, but wordpress and screened are NOT very compatible. There are non-trivial issues involved with cross posting my work, including removing images and reuploading to the other system's back end. It's not hard, but it's time consuming, and I'm at the point where my time is busy being swallowed by everything else. So for now I'm probably not going to put these articles up on my screened blog. You'll still have my reviews every week, of course, and I feel bad. But I just can't keep up.

That said, the articles ARE going up. Light Bondage continues every other week. Criterion Cuts and Directed Viewing continue, with Directed Viewing just ending the Lars von Trier series and starting a new Quentin Tarantino project next week. I'm still writing, as much as ever. And I hope that people still want to read it.

Where? My blog, of course.

I fully intend to return to crossposting at some point, but I don't have a definite date, and I don't want you to think I've forgotten about you all. So if you feel like it, head on over and check out what work you might have missed the past few weeks. It's a pretty big pile, and it just keeps growing. Thanks everyone for your understanding.
