You know, assuming you had one. Technically I've been "on duty" Tuesday-Thursday, but it's been pretty ass-slow movie news wise, and these lists take a long time to put together, and I've been trying to get some video scripts together for when we get back into the office.

Apart from that, mostly gaming. The Steam Holiday sale is basically like a second Christmas to me; maybe even better. So far I bought Bulletstorm for five bucks and beat it, then I got Orcs Must Die! for something insanely cheap and have been enjoying that as well. I normally get really tense when playing tower defense games; I hate losing, and sometimes you just have to lose a round to know what your enemies are going to do and what traps you need to invest in. But so far it's been really fun, and the fact that I can get in there with a crossbow to help out makes things a bit better. I hope that eventually they'll just give me a boatload of points and let me defend a chokepoint against a massive horde of enemies, though.

Also Space Pirates and Zombies. Only a couple of hours in, but it's fun. I can see how it'll get monotonous, though.

I've finally got around to playing Mass Effect 2 - I'm sure everyone's aware, but that game is amazing! Just getting a few more trophies in that and then on to Resistance 3.

Mainly trying to get through my backlog of games. I'm pretty clear on consoles but my Steam is filled to the brim with stuff I haven't even touched yet (I blame the sales). Take Space Marine, for example. Bought that four months ago and despite a short half-hour stint, today is the first time I've properly sat down and played it. Managed to get through the first two chapters, and while it's very simplistic, it's also a ton of fun. I can see it getting tedious before long but it seems fairly short so that shouldn't be an issue.

I've been meaning to sink some more hours into Skyrim as well but haven't got round to it yet. I have, however, spent a fair few hours with The Old Republic. Not too much for an MMO (about 23 hours) but enough to let me know that it's something I'll probably play for the next month or so... or until the free 30 days runs out.

Apart from that a lot of my time has been eaten by family-oriented Christmas stuff (like being stuck in traffic for three hours straight), and watching the random assortment of Christmas movies on TV. I also need to get around to watching some of my recent Blu Ray acquisitions. Most of them are stuff I've already seen, but not since the summer, so a fresh viewing would be welcome.

@Mr_skeleton: nice

I've just been hard at work becoming a Dark Lord of the Sith in Star Wars the Old Republic. Down deep its a MMA ass MMO but it has a nice Bioware top layer that makes it all good all the I need x things killed quests are nomrally bonuses.

Skyrim. Steam had a sale cutting the price by a third so I snatched it up since outside of WOW, Oblivion is probably my longest played game ever. Skyrim might eclipse its predecessor eventually. I'm really enjoying it so far and I love tooling around with the new mods that pop up daily.

Oh and I saw Super 8 and Kung-Fu Panda 2 on blu-ray. I enjoyed both but neither were anything special for me, at least. I liked the included Kung-Fu Panda 2D cartoon (Secrets of the Masters) more and wish that was what the TV series looked like. The end of the film suggests a KFP 3.

The downside of my holiday is that my PS3-Launch finally "yellow lighted" so I had to pick up a Slim. It's really quiet by comparison to my old "fat", and it seems a lot flimsier. We'll see if this one lasts another 5 years.

Mainly I've just been at home hanging out with the family, cousins and seeing friends. I only came home once from college since September despite it just being an hour and a half away. I borrowed a friend's old PS3 as well so I've been playing a bit of MW2(it is ridiculously easy now though) and watching soccer/movies on TV.

Also food - I've been stuffing my face while I can. I pretty sure I came close to throwing up on Christmas Day but that is what its all about people!

Watched Goldfinger on Netflix today. At times, watching Bond's attitude toward women reminded me of Mad Men. He spanks one girl on the ass in public and forces himself on another through brute force. She initially struggles but succumbs after Bond gives her a magical kiss. Seriously, it's like a live-action Pepe Le Pew.

Just Skyward Sword and Arkham City (PC) as far as gaming. Also watched videos of a guy playing Halflife 2 for the first time. He nearly throws up during the hovercraft sequence from nausea, which happened to me back in 2004 when I played it. Something about the bob of the hovercraft combined with the gun turret does it.

I went on a cruise with my family, but spent a lot of the time watching movies, as I'm not much of a beach guy. Watched a lot of criterions I had and hadn't watched, like Au Hasard Balthazar, The Great Dictator, L'Atalante, The Three Colors Trilogy, and Yojimbo. I also saw Super 8.

I've spent far too much time playing MW2 and AC II. I should spend my time on here but those games are just too hard to put down.

Finally played Bastion! Such an amazing game and the soundtrack is great as well!

Watched This is England 86 and 88, depressing but it was right for the season! On season 3 of Misfits, enjoying this so much! If Heros were a bunch of fuck ups with powers, this is what it would be like. Finally watched Girl with The Dragon Tattoo. Movie seemed long, but I loved it! No one wants to see Young Adult with me!! Guess I'm going to watch it alone :(

Trying to finally blast through the Fallout: New Vegas DLC I bought so I can move on to Skyrim and The Witcher 2. Fortunately for me, I don't go back to school until February, so I have some time.

All I had was Sunday and Monday off work. Cooked Christmas dinner for the fam on Sunday and took the brother shopping and cinema on Monday. Back to work as normal Tuesday.

I've been playing Skyrim (I'm soon done), reading some Patrick Rothfuss and, sadly, working. I've had two days off from work this holiday and I hate it... h.a.t.e. it... and I hate Excel. So this holiday is brought to you by the demon of hate.

Wiki editing for here and Anime Vice throughout the break, helped with the holiday cooking and just resting and sleeping in.

Office christmas party consisted of shrimp, steaks, and absinthe. That was pretty good. I guess I graduated, I dunno, it doesn't feel like I did, maybe it will when I can actually pick up my diploma next week. The best was succeeding in my mission to finish more than 70 games this year; might be able to hit 72 depending on how diligently I play the Tactics Ogre update for psp because I'm pretty sure I just unlocked the last area.

I've been reading a lot, catching up on Parks and Recreation, and playing a bunch of Demon's Souls. Also, Rorie, if you have any tips or secrets that you'd feel comfortable disclosing, I would appreciate you doing so.
