12 Warring Best Pictures - WTF!!

I just finished this quest, I have to say how did "Wings" the first Best Picture not make the list?  It's a Best Picture, the first, it's about World I pilots in WWI, I mean how much more on point to the quest could it be.  Damn you kids and your Talkies!!  Sound killed film you know.

This quest just reminded me how many top-quality war films never won Best Picture. "Saving Private Ryan" and "Apocalypse Now" stand out. I tolerate "Kramer vs Kramer" stealing the win from the latter, but "Shakespeare in Love"? Damn you Weinsteins!

I kept getting confused that it was only Best Picture winners, and I was annoyed. But even then, there were some bad ones. Gone With the Wind? Patton? Heck, even the English patient?
