Honestly, this one's pretty self-explanatory.  There's not much to give beyond just telling folks, if they're not familiar with the different events, to look them up here and elsewhere.

@ScanCase: Google is your friend (as is the Hasbro figure set)...
 
And all the bounty hunters ARE on one page (as they were all in one movie)...

Quick clues:   
 
Concerning those Vader used a certain type of "strong grip" on, look at the characters as most have the same rank.  Search all of the characters in that rank and you will find the majority.    
 
Not all the Bounty Hunters are humanoid or organic sentient beings.   
 
Concerning all the space ships involved.  One of them is "ahead" of their design.  When someone drinks or gets drunk, "They ________ one on."

@ScanCase: Hrmm... I did the Google thing and then just hit each page with the search, so I guess the cast may not be completely filled out for the movie they should all be listed in...

I thought this one was pretty easy, so I'll instead kind of give hints for where to go on Google to answer all these. 
 

Bounty Hunters: 

All the answers for this question get stories based around them in the Star Wars: Tales of the Bounty Hunters short story collection. 
 

What A Piece of Junk: 

Look for the actors who played people (or droids, or an alien) on the Millennium Falcon when they left Tatooine in Star Wars, and the actress who played the person they were going to rescue. 
 

A Useless Gesture: 

So, in the Battle of Yavin, in Star Wars, what were the Rebels trying to blow up, what ships did they use to try and blow it up, and what types of fighters did they try to put against them, including Darth Vader's fighter. 
 

You Have Failed Me For The Last Time:

How does Vader kill people who piss him off? 
Who did he kill or nearly kill with that method in Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back? (one was in Star Wars, two were in Empire). 
The title for this quest is actually an splendid clue - probably one of the best they've given.
