Quests

Quests were such a great part of this community for me. I've been away for a little while, but I remember filing through so many movies and actors trying to find the solution to one riddle or another. And sure, there was a bit of "cheating" on the forums and some of the community based connection quests could be gamed with a little agreement between members, but there was something about the entire system that was too great for me to do those sort of things. I've still never gotten my 100 wall posts, and when I do I know it'll be earned as a reward for being a real part of this community.

The big move was a little while back and if that's why the ride is over, fine(?), but I would just love to see some of these things come back. It was part of that Whiskey charm and I miss it.

Maybe BB does not know that we like quests. You're going to have to message @staceywi , or else BB won't know how you feel.

None of the former WM sites have had quests on them since last Christmas. I assume it isn't a high priority right about now.

@TheShaneTrane: I agree, I enjoyed them a lot but even GB isn't doing much with them. After awhile most quests were generated by interns and none of the sites have interns, so no one to be writing things in their spare time. Maybe here someone could write them down the line and get them going again, who knows?

Not really.

It was a nice surprise to me when I started using the Whiskey Media sites, and for the first few days, definitely kept me more interested and involved in the sites. But it isn't just the quests - it appears that Screened itself is very quiet.

I enjoyed the quests and actually have been able to go back and get some of the older ones. It would be really cool to have some back, especially around Emmy/Oscar time or for big TV show releases (Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, etc.), but at the same time I realize that the community probably needs to give more before they'll consider putting in the effort.
