Got the chance to buy way too much popcorn from the grocery store which got me to thinking.

What is your favorite non-movie theater snack to have while watching a movie?

Edit: Thanks for the DVD and Rorie stickers :D

Rorie - I like skittles

Alex - I'm sure they have those in the cinema

Rorie - I'm not 100% sure what they even sell at the concession stand these days

Rorie - A while back I went to KFC before a movie, bought 4 biscuits and a bucket and ate. Yes I was that guy.

Alex - I'd rather drink soft drinks. As food goes I don't really eat in the cinema. Maybe I will grab stuff from the deli.

How many movies and/ or tv shows do you watch each week for reviews or articles? And how many do you watch just for your own enjoyment?

I know this could vary depending on the week but a rough estimation(in hours or movies/shows) would be great.

Rorie - I watch little TV since there is not alot of TV

Alex - But theoretically we only watch the TV we would already be watching

Rorie - Occasionally I will watch something because its going to be popular

Rorie - As for movies. At least 5 movies a week.

Alex - Usually 2 to 3 a week

New remakes and unnecessary sequels are announced everyday, or at least it seems like it. This leads to the simple question, what movie remakes would you hope to never see? For me, I had the random thought of The Three Amigos. Just thinking of recasting that makes me disgusted with the current state of comedies and which "big" comedic actors would be thrown in it.

Rorie - I don't think there is anything untouchable

Alex - Not sure about that.

Rorie - I think if some films were remade the public outcry would be a PR nightmare

If you could compare the careers of Robert Downey Jr and Johnny Depp who is currently a better actor? Also would Depp ever do blackface?

Rorie - Johhny Depp is just about the biggest star in the world. Robert Downie JR. Is up there and commands a fair salary

Alex - Depp is a better actor, something of a chameleon. Robert basically does Robert Downie Jr.

Hey guys Great Big Live Live Show This Time it's Live, it was good to see Alex again.

So my questions is about the site, would you consider not attaching Trailers to the forums as I feel everytime I look at the forums on the mainpage at least 80% is trailers and it detracts me and probably others from finding cool blog/forum posts. Thanks Guys.

Rorie - Um. It depends. We don't attach them to the general forum, it only crops up on the newest forum.

What do you think of the Horror genre in comparison between now and the 90's and 80's decades?

Rorie - Horror has gone in a harsher direction. Its really gritty, grimey. Its gone very black
Alex - Here is an intresting example. I did a feature on the hellraiser. Through that I've watched the 9 films.
Alex - Eventhough the films are very bleak they come across as having very goofy effects.
Alex - Juicy kind of grosse effects.
Alex - Its rather entertaining.
Rorie - Whats the line the guy has at the end of it?
Alex - Jesus wept

When Roger Corman won an Honorary Oscar for his contributions to cinema last year a lot people made a big stink and there others who defended him as one of the most important educators (ie the The Corman School of Film) in modern American film. So Screened what say you? Is Corman the king of schlock and honoring his film career is a complete travesty? Or is the fact that he mentored so many big time respected Hollywood directors and actors such as James Cameron, Martin Scorsese, Jack Nicholson, and Robert De Niro that he deserves some sort of recognition by the Academy?

Rorie - I would; in terms of honary oscar, Sure.

Alex - He has had a noticeable impact, and he was prolific.

Ok, yeah, I probably should've remembered that. I really like Tropic Thunder.
