I tried looking for a youtube clip of one of the classic hacking scenes from Lawnmower Man but the best it came up with was "Drunk man on Lawnmower". But yeah, Lawnmower Man & Hackers are great for some balls-out over the top stupid hacking scenes.
 
While it doesn't actually featuring much hacking, Drop Zone stands out in my memory as one of those films that tries to pin computer hacking as somewhat like beating a very difficult game. In fact I'm pretty sure at one point the hacker character even says "Yes! We're into the game!" whilst hacking a computer.

Screened Podcast 07/13/2010 Community List - Over-The-Top Hacking List

1. Swordfish

Not only did this movie feature some of the best hacking scenes of all time, but I can actually do a "Defend Your Movie" on this. I LOVE this flick.
2. Hackers

With names like Acid Burn, Crash Override, Cereal Killer, Lord Nikon, Phantom Phreak, and The Plague...you can expect that crazy hacking will happen. However, it not only has crazy hacking scenes...but it has hacking scenes THAT GO INTO THE COMPUTER!!!
3. Jurassic Park

Sam Jackson. Wayne Knight. Computers. End...of...story.
4. The Matrix

Not only are people hacking in TWO DIFFERENT WORLDS...but there is SLOW MOTION COMPUTER SCRIPT!!! Fucking...win!
5. Mission: Impossible

HE HANGS UPSIDE DOWN AND HACKS A FUCKING COMPUTER!!!
6. EXistenZ

When David Cronenberg and hacking/game designing/artificial intelligence is involved, then you KNOW it's going to be interesting.
7. Sneakers

Uh...DUH!
8. TRON

It's full of neon, archaic computer graphics, and Disney.
9. Superman III

Not only does this have Richard Pryor in it, but anyone who understands the reference from Office Space knows this movie needs to be on the list.
10. Pirates of Silicon Valley

There's not really any hacking...but I just need to remind people that going to college for computer science IN ANY FORM will result in watching the FUCK out of this flick!
