Hey duders. With all the hate for remakes these days, I would like to know which remake would you like to see? (this question might be a repeat, so sorry if it's been asked before!)

I recently really got into John Hughes movies this past year. I watched all of them and loved some and disliked others. But what I did like I really really loved (Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller, Uncle Buck). I was wondering which John Hughes written but not directed movies were worth watching?

Thanks Screened Dudes!

Hey fells, are there any genres that were once popular that you'd like to see more directors tackle? I'm thinking western, noir, screwball comedy, etc... (funny that the Cohen brothers have done all three). More specifically, are there any directors in particular that you'd like to see take on a genre otherwise unfamiliar to them?

Thanks duders

Hey screened peoples, I got way into 80's horror movies this fall on a whim, watching a lot of classics like Alien and Aliens, The Thing, and the Evil Dead movies for the first time (in no small part to Alex's Besties video for The Thing). My question it two fold, what other 80's horror movies would you recommend, and what are some modern horror movies that you guys think are good (actual horror, gore porn doesn't do anything for me).

Thanks!

Are you able to differentiate watching a movie for pleasure opposed to watching it for work? Can you make that conscious decision to flip that switch, or has your time at Screened strengthened your subconscious critic?

Rorie, have you any room in your heart for the Feline race? Alex, how hard is it to break a drumstick whilst drumming?

You both (all?) are awesome. Much love from Reno!

Who has the most dignity left, Wes Craven or John Carpenter?

Taboo's in film is nothing new, but do you think there is a line that shouldn't be crossed? I've notice this past year that a couple of films (mostly horror) have shown some pretty vile things in my opinion: The killing of babies.

> A Serbian Film: Baby Porn

> August Underground Mordum: Headless Dead Baby in a trash can.

> Human Centipede 2: Gas Pedal Baby

Is taboo mainly used for shock value? Have you (Matt/Alex) ever seen it used to get some sort point across? Hope this makes sense, Thanks!

So I was thinking about how to improve the movie In Time and thought of this movie and I was wondering what you guys think.

It's a time in the future where everyone is genetically altered to be a douchebag. Everyone is assigned a a wrist device and every day a name of a person nearby appears on your wrist device and you have to hunt that person out and punch them in the face, but somewhere out there someone has your name! What do you think of this as a starting point?

If you had to predict a particular modern movie/story that you think will stand the test of time hundreds of years from now, what would it be?

I would say Inception. It has a unique story that should not be worn out by sequels. It seems like Nolan even went out of his way to avoid any types of style that could date the movie (clothing, technology, architecture).

Hey duders. Now that Beavis & Butthead is back and still just as awesome, are there are any other animated shows from the 90s you want to see return? Do you think there are any as equally timeless? Thanks.
