Got the chance to buy way too much popcorn from the grocery store which got me to thinking.
What is your favorite non-movie theater snack to have while watching a movie?
Edit: Thanks for the DVD and Rorie stickers :D

New remakes and unnecessary sequels are announced everyday, or at least it seems like it. This leads to the simple question, what movie remakes would you hope to never see? For me, I had the random thought of The Three Amigos. Just thinking of recasting that makes me disgusted with the current state of comedies and which "big" comedic actors would be thrown in it.
Hey guys Great Big Live Live Show This Time it's Live, it was good to see Alex again.
So my questions is about the site, would you consider not attaching Trailers to the forums as I feel everytime I look at the forums on the mainpage at least 80% is trailers and it detracts me and probably others from finding cool blog/forum posts. Thanks Guys.
When Roger Corman won an Honorary Oscar for his contributions to cinema last year a lot people made a big stink and there others who defended him as one of the most important educators (ie the The Corman School of Film) in modern American film. So Screened what say you? Is Corman the king of schlock and honoring his film career is a complete travesty? Or is the fact that he mentored so many big time respected Hollywood directors and actors such as James Cameron, Martin Scorsese, Jack Nicholson, and Robert De Niro that he deserves some sort of recognition by the Academy?

I don't think there is any movie sacred enough to never be remade, but Godfather is the first movie that came to my mind while reading this question. And there are some movies whose premise is interesting enough that they legitimately deserved to be remade in order to expose the concept of original to a new generation of audience. Just a few weeks ago I watched Stalker, the 1979 science fiction movie by Tarkovsky, and although I found the movie interesting I did not find it entertaining. I am completely open to Stalker being remade for today's audience, perhaps headed by someone like Nolan North.
I was thinking about Arnold Schwarzenegger the other day, specifically whether or not he's actually a good actor. I love Predator, Commando, Total Recall, etc. but I'm not sure if Arnold's acting ability is one of the reasons I enjoy those movies. He's charismatic to be sure, but is he a good actor?
Keep on Screenin'
Hey guys, a friend and I were having an argument the other day about Al Pacino vs. Robert DeNiro and who's career will be looked at better when both actors retire. I argued that in their prime, DeNiro was the better actor but that Pacino's career will be viewed more favorably due to him being in better films than DeNiro is over the last decade and a half. I was wondering where the both of you stand on this issue?

Obvious Q really - any good films dealing with/touching on 9/11 themes?
Alt Q - summarise the plot of The Third Society.
The best film by far considering 9/11 is the film accidently made film titled "9/11" by the Naudet Brothers, who were originally intending to make a documentary about newly appointed firefighters in Ladder 1 until the day the disaster happened. This film skips the politics and shows the real story of 9/11 and the inhuman bravery displayed by all those fireman and so many others. Those hollywood'ified 9/11 flicks don't hold a candle to this piece of captured history.
After watching last night's Breaking Bad, I'm starting to get really annoyed by the heavy handed product placement for Rage. There's one scene in particular where someone gets thrown into a shelf and the camera lingers briefly on a shot of the game's box as it conveniently falls into view. It seemed gratuitous me and I was wondering how Matt and Alex feel about product placement and if they can think of particular instances where it's annoyed them in the past.

I'm almost positive that Jesse was playing Rage in a previous episode this season. I think it was 3 episodes ago? He was in his house, playing a violent FPS that reminded him of shooting Gale and eagerly going back for more, which gave some insight into where his head was.
What's up with Breaking Bad and Rage?
@CharAznable:
"What's up with Breaking Bad and Rage?"
I know! It's been winding me up for a while. I know it's a super-nerdy thing to get hung up on but the game hasn't even been released yet! It's not even a lightgun game as far as I'm aware but that's how Jessie was playing it! Madness, madness I tells ya!
