lol, I'm gonna laugh everytime I notice this now.

I only felt this way when Norm was on the podcast. There were a lot of times when Norm would joke about something and then Alex or Rorie would go "I don't think they would do that" or reply seriously in some manner.

But hey, different folks etc.

I actually find it hilarious whenever this happens. I love hearing Alex try his hardest to make a joke happen while Rorie just completely ignores him.

Use this every time it happens.

That's a good idea Mr. Skeleton, I might just have to do that. It is kinda funny in an awkward way when it happens. I think it's just Rorie thinking ahead to what he's gotta get to next or whatever. Or he secretly HATES alex. That's probably it.

It's not Rorie's fault--some people just aren't good at impromptu comedy (or any type of brusque comedic reciprocation). We're not all Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie. And anyway, isn't it funnier that the jokes often fall deathly flat?

Yeah, I noticed that too the other day. Other things that annoy me is Rorie constantly interrupting Alex -- you notice it once, you notice it constantly from there on. I know it's Skype and everything, but Rorie clearly does it mid-sentence most times. Also the burping into the microphone has got to go, but THEN he also acknowledges it. It's kind of grating especially with headphones on. Either stop drinking Cokes all day or at least have the decency to move away from the mic.

I've recently started listening to the Tested podcast, and I'd say that, oh, maybe around 90% of Will's impromptu wisecracks fall flat. The silence or ignorance afterwards by Norm and Gary is priceless, even if only for a split second. Same goes for these moments in BTSD. Rorie has admitted to having a selective sense of humor, though I like to think that he wasn't paying attention to Alex's rant and was instead thinking about puppies.

We should band together and raise money to get Alex a laugh track...
